1. What Gharr Is

Gharr is a marketplace that connects people looking for flats and flatmates across Indian cities. We are not a broker, landlord, or property agent.

2. Eligibility

You must be 18 years or older to use Gharr. By creating an account, you confirm you meet this requirement.

3. Accounts

• You sign in via Google. You are responsible for your account security.
• One account per person. Do not share your account.
• We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.

4. Free & Paid Features

Free tier:

• Browse all listings
• View listing details (photos, description, area, rent)
• 1 free contact unlock (one-time)

Monthly Subscription (Rs 499/month):

• 30 contact unlocks per billing cycle
• Direct owner/tenant phone numbers
• Valid for 30 days from purchase date

5. No Refunds

All subscription payments are final and non-refundable. Once a subscription is activated, the value (contact unlocks) is immediately available and considered delivered. No refunds will be issued for:

• Unused unlocks
• Early cancellation
• Incorrect contact information (use the Report feature instead)
• Change of mind

If a contact is invalid or fraudulent, use the Report feature within 24 hours. Reported contacts are reviewed, and unlock credits may be restored at our discretion.

6. Listing Accuracy

We do not guarantee the accuracy of any listing including rent, availability, or property details. Always verify independently before making any decisions.

7. Prohibited Conduct

You may not:

• Post fake or misleading listings
• Use the platform for spam, harassment, or illegal activity
• Scrape or crawl our platform
• Resell contact information obtained through unlocks
• Impersonate another person
• Attempt to circumvent the paywall

8. Limitation of Liability

Gharr is a listing platform. We do not:

• Guarantee the accuracy of any listing
• Verify property ownership
• Mediate disputes between tenants and landlords
• Guarantee that a flat is still available

We are not liable for any loss, damage, or dispute arising from transactions between users.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on Gharr (design, code, brand) is owned by us.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms, without notice or refund.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Bangalore, Karnataka.

12. Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
